Books With Photography

Here are some children book reviews of books with photography.

I love photography books as a break from illustration. It amazed me at how early The Goose was able to extrapolate and call a pig a pig whether it was illustrated or in a photo, but still, I like having some real-life still-life in the mix. Especially when the photography is beautiful and interesting and worthy of being admired.

These books are roughly ordered in terms of our favourites

So Many Circles, So Many Squares (Tana Hoban)

Perfect for reading just for sake of it, this book is also outstanding for a child who is learning about circles and squares. Stunning photos of everyday scenes present a look-and-find for the shapes. This is also a wordless book.
