There are some things in life that make me skip – literally. Some of them are just odd things that would only apply to me (like doing other people’s errands with them . . . I love doing that) and other things are actual objects that perhaps other people would like to know about.
Part of being a king where it counts, is knowing what things make you feel like you’re glowing from the inside. For us, having a small apartment means spending less time cleaning and more time doing things we love – but it also means less space for things.
These are some of the objects that have a special place in my home:
- Books
- Read some book reviews
- My baby sling

We are also in the process of finding the “just right” items that seem to be missing . . .
- Frying pan
- Towels
- Coffee maker
- Sheets
- Dishes
It’s not that we don’t already have these items in our home, just that we don’t have the right ones. Of course, we don’t think we need the perfect item for everything, but some things just make your day better – like having a big fluffy towel when you get out of the shower! It’s splurging on the things that will make you happy that makes you king where it counts.
