Fruit Leather

Blend any combination of fruit to make fruit leather. Fruits like apples, pears, peaches and nectarines should be cooked first (similar to making apple sauce). You can use overripe fruit in this recipe, so it’s a great way to be frugal.

Simply blend your fruit and pour it out onto baking sheets that have been lined with parchment paper. Make sure that it is no more than 1/4 inch deep along the sides and 1/8 inch deep at the center (the center doesn’t dry as fast).

Dry in your oven with the temperature as low as it can go and the door propped open to let moisture escape.
