Grilled Grapefruit

This is easy, and it’s actually broiled, not grilled – but that just doesn’t have the same ring.

Slice grapefruit in half, and then each half in half, and then each 1/4 in half.

Put under the broiler at 500 degrees and broil until the tips start to crisp.

Serve warm.

Here are some of the tricks about warm grapefruit:

  • Broiling the grapefruit makes it extra juicy
  • This sweetens the grapefruit so you don’t have to add sugar
  • Put the grapefruit in the freezer for about 15 minutes before popping them into a  super hot oven. This will give you warm outer flesh and a burst of cool juice in the middle.
