A Tea Towel Bib

There is a dizzying number of bibs that you can buy. Here’s my problem with a bib – maybe my child is particularly messy but I find that a bib just leaves a clean spot on an otherwise food covered shirt (and pants), so now you have to wash the shirt, the pants, and the bib.

I’ve never found that very helpful.

Instead, I use a tea towel. It’s thick and it’s absorbent and it covers her entire front, including the pants. I don’t have to search for one, I don’t need a new storage place for them, and, when she’s done eating I can wipe the table with it.

(Plus – I can have a limitless number on hand and they match my kitchen)

I simply secure it behind her neck with a clip!
